No - this is not my house . . .

This photo was part of a creativity exercise I did a while ago which was a study of light, shadow and textures. This is one of a group of rental cottages in Truro, MA which is here on Cape Cod. Check out the slide show for more pics.

Aloha

Sat down and played with my Sure Cuts A Lot software and my Cricut.  I am loving this software - so much to do with my Cricut!  I started with a vague idea, played with some punches I have and voila!

All the fonts and wingdings are free downloads (the palm trees, flamingos, and Aloha font), the circle comes with the SCAL software. The beach border is from EF and the butterflies are MS punches. Flowers is Tim Holtz flower die cut. The sentiment is Print Works.
My neighbor saw this card and tried to make off with it today LOL!  It maybe the flamingos - she loves pink.

Also, Cindy (MotherMark of Teapot Tuesday and This is my story) was named Queen for the Day over as Split Coast Stampers.  In honor of her we were to go through her album and case a card.  I of course, picked one with lots of polka dots and then . . . ADDED MORE DOTS!!!!!
The copic coloring did not translate as well in photos as it does with the naked eye. Image is Inkadinkdo and giant dot paper is Me and My Big Ideas.
This was a fun card to do and Cindy seemed to get a big kick out of being QFTD.

Well a darling card indeed Gale. Just love the flamingo myself. Cute scene. I long for a cricut...maybe someday. I just love what can be done with it.

Beautiful case of our Queen's card by the way!
