No - this is not my house . . .

This photo was part of a creativity exercise I did a while ago which was a study of light, shadow and textures. This is one of a group of rental cottages in Truro, MA which is here on Cape Cod. Check out the slide show for more pics.

A lovely update . . .

I wanted to share with you all the wonderful update the Teapotters received about Miss Eula, our 108 year old card recipient.  See my earlier post for a reminder 108th birthday.  Cindy (Mothermark received and update on our birthday girl) and you can read about her on Cindy's line This is My Story: Mission Accomplished!  My card is on the bulletin board second row between the yellow roses card and the red flowers card.

Here is the last verse of the poem Miss Eula references (Thanatopsis by: William Cullen Bryant 1794-1878)

So live, that when thy summons comes to join
The innumerable caravan which moves
To that mysterious realm where each shall take
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night,
Scourged by his dungeon; but, sustain'd and soothed
By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave,
Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch
About him, and lies down to pleasant dreams.
