No - this is not my house . . .

This photo was part of a creativity exercise I did a while ago which was a study of light, shadow and textures. This is one of a group of rental cottages in Truro, MA which is here on Cape Cod. Check out the slide show for more pics.

Challenges all over the place!

Don't forget about the great blog candy give away!  Go here to read all about it.

Today there is three cards to share with you for three different challenges.  The first card is for the "Hope You Can Cling To" challenge HYCCT09 "Lets Dabble in Some Scrabble" hosted by Mothermark which had us working in squares including a square card (just like a scrabble board).  If you want to read about the "Hope You Can Cling To" challenges over on SCS, click on the blinkie badge on the right.  I made an easel card with a featured sentiment I love from Inkadinkdo that I have owned for years (back when they were a local MA company).
Main sentiment and "dream": Inkadinkado; DP - Me and My Big Ideas; Pink pearls - e., MS butterfly punch.

Next is another Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT115 “It’s a Disaster for Casper . . .” and poor little Mitsey Bitsey the spider has snagged Casper in her web hoping to bring him to her Halloween party but now doesn’t know what to do with him.  Confused?  Intrigued?  Go here.  Our destination this week is  little 5 year old Jacob, grandson of fellow SCSer, who has just been diagnosed with cancer.
So what’s the story, Glory?  Glory is a sweet little witch who loves Halloween – not because she likes to scare people, she is too sweet for that – but because she loves to go to parties and go house to house trick or treating.  She heard about Mitsey’s dilemma and decided she needed to fly over to help.  She grabbed her pumpkin shaped bucket filled with candy so she could calm Casper down by giving him all these sweets.  Then Mitsey can have the Halloween party of her dreams!  Her kitty named Kat wanted to go too but never expected that Glory would be flying at lightning speed so now Kat is hanging on for dear life so as to not fall into the pit of skulls they are flying over to get to Mitsey’s party.  Glory and Kit were glad to see the pumpkins, who are friends of  Dunkin, and the Happy Halloween sign because they know they are almost to the party.  Fun, fun, fun!

Image: Mo’s Digital Pencil Halloween Witch colored with copics; Happy Halloween digital image: free giveaway from Paper Craft Magazine – I cut out an extra set of pumpkins and put Elmers 3-D glitter glue on them and then popped them up; DP: Recollections “Ravenhead Manor”
Finally, I have another card for the Kenny K Krafty Girlz challenges.  This week is "Make It Christmas" which is in honor of Kenny K's new Christmas digis. Yikes!  Christmas is just a little over 2 months away.
This card could almost be called all digi all the time.  The image is Kenny K's digi  "Misteltoe" colored with copics and glittered up with stickles; The "Naughty or Nice" image is from PC Crafters Naughty or Nice digi collection.  DP is also from the PC Crafters Naughty or Nice digi collection.  Also used MS snowflake around the punch, ribbon SU and velvet flowers from Offray Stylish Accents.
